The Orendain Family History

1900’s - Tequila Production Begins

The Orendain family begins producing tequila on their own farm

1978 - El Llano Distillery

The distillery owned and operated by the Orendain family, rebuilt in 1978, and is located in the Tequila City Center.

1986 - Arette Tequila Launches

Started by brothers, Eduardo Sr. and Jaime Orendain, Eduardo Jr.’s Father and Uncle, in the El Llano distillery.

2019 - A New Generation of Tequila

Eduardo Orendain Jr. begins the planning on launching his own company, Paladar Tequila

2022 - Paladar Tequila is born

Paladar Tequila launches in the US with Blanco, Reposado, and Destillado de Agave - Aged in Amburana Barrels

How old were you when you first began working in the fields?

I was 8 years old when I first started exploring the fields with my father.

What does Paladar mean to you personally?

Authenticity, the product itself has five generations of knowledge behind it and the soil on the bottle is literally bringing a piece of Jalisco to every person wherever you are.
